The Theory of Recursive Genomic Synthesis (RGS) reconceptualizes the genome as a dynamic, self-modifying system in which iterative cycles of modification, regulatory network rewiring, and epigenetic adaptation generate emergent phenotypes. Applied to mental health, RGS provides a framework for understanding how complex interactions between genes, neural regulatory networks, and environmental exposures shape vulnerability and resilience to psychiatric disorders.
