Statement of the problem. The article is devoted to the study of cable robots and their possible use in construction in the Russian Federation. In robots with parallel kinematics, ropes (cables) are used instead of rigid rods, the tension of which is changed using a controlled electric drive. In construction, they can provide a number of advantages over traditional cranes, manipulators, and construction platforms. The possibility of adapting and applying this technology when installing hinged facades is considered. Results. The tasks and the range of application of this system in the conditions of the Russian market of systems of hinged facades are defined. The analysis of existing technical solutions for the installation of curtain wall systems has been carried out to determine the key features of the operating modes of cable robots. Some machine learning methods are considered that make it possible to identify and systematize work processes, as well as to reduce the time spent on preparing algorithms for installing energy-efficient facades. Conclusions. The significant advantages of the proposed solution have been established: high adaptability to various climatic conditions in Russia, positioning accuracy ± 3.2 mm, which meets the installation requirements of modern facade systems, the ability to work in seismically active zones due to the dynamic stabilization system, versatility for various types of fasteners and materials of facade structures.
