Occupational ApplicationsThe results of this study have practical implications for ergonomic modeling and workplace design. It is recommended that digital human models used to predict arm strength capacities incorporate an estimated 8% strength advantage for the right hand relative to the left. This recommendation is grounded in the observed asymmetry among right-handed individuals. Importantly, left-handed individuals demonstrated minimal strength differences between limbs and would still be adequately represented and protected under this modeling assumption.
