Key Points

  • The goal is to present a model that measures the one-way speed of light.
  • Developed a conceptual mechanical model
  • Focused on light pulse interaction with a rotating mechanical system
  • Described a principle for measurement using classical tools
  • No experimental data reported
  • Outlined mechanisms potentially applicable for light speed measurement

Abstract

This work presents a conceptual mechanical model for measuring the speed of light in a single direction. The model is based on the interaction between a light pulse anda physical mechanical system undergoing uniform rotational motion. The ob jective of this article is not to report experimental data, but to describe a viable physical mechanism that, in principle, would allow the measurement of the one-way speed of light using classical instrumentation.
