In today’s competitive environment, the role of sales managers is very important. They contribute to revenue growth and play a decisive role in managing and motivating sales departments to achieve high results. Therefore, it is extremely important to know what factors influence the professional success of a sales manager. The article examines various approaches to understanding the term “career”, considers the factors of career formation and its types. The second part of the article analyzes the features of the profession of a sales manager and options for career opportunities in this professional field, highlights the factors of a successful career of a sales manager.
