The educational technology as a relevant factor in the industrial design in the metallic industry of Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico

ABSTRACT In the metallic industry of the Mexicali city are used diverse types to industrial design software to design and develop, for the products manufactured, and as for the design of distribution plant, which includes production, quality, security, administrative, and warehouse areas; and also, for the proper distribution of production lines to the manufacturing process. The principal industrial design computer systems (as software), to the industrial operations of the metallic industry in the industrial plants of Mexicali city, are the AUTOCAD, Solid Works and CREO (formerly known as Pro/Engineer). The AUTOCAD software was utilized in this scientific study, because was considered as the basic software to the industrial design in the metallic industry where was made this investigation and in the educational institution that was participated with specialized professors and researchers, which were training to students as teaching-learning process and students that were interest in this scientific study. The results were presented in the AUTOCAD system and about the operative yielding of workers and industrial CNC in MATLAB software, and the use Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) technique was used to detect deterioration of metallic materials utilized in this metallic industry, when the industrial design not was adequately.
