This newspaper article explores the story of the Narellan Military Camp. The camp occupies an important place in Narellan's military heritage, although in the overall picture of World War II, it was not of great military importance. In the national story, it does not appear in Gavin Long's Official History of the Second World War, and there are very few references to the camp in the various unit histories. Yet the stories of local men and women are very important, and they add colour to the area's military history.
