Abstract

ABSTRACT The Francisellaceae are a family of Gram-negative γ-proteobacteria with diverse environmental and pathogenic roles. This report presents the draft genomes of three isolates of a Francisella organism from the winter Chesapeake Bay that occupies a psychrophilic, environmental niche, offering genomic insights into the capabilities of these unusual bacteria.
