Job satisfaction of Secondary School Teachers of Lower Subansiri district, Arunachal Pradesh

The present study was conducted to investigate the job satisfaction with respect to type of management, gender and locality. The job satisfaction scale developed by Meera Dixit (1993) was used to collect the data. The data was collected from 100 teachers, 50 government school teachers and 50 private school teachers of lower subansiri district. The results revealed that there is significant differences between government and private secondary school teachers. The findings also indicated that there is no significant difference between job satisfaction of secondary school teachers with respect to gender and locality.
