This study analyses the effect of promotional strategies on consumer buying behaviour and sales performance with reference to Lulu Hypermarket in Coimbatore. The research focuses on understanding how discounts, seasonal offers, and special campaigns influence customers purchasing decisions. Primary data was collected through a structured questionnaire, and secondary data was gathered from relevant books and online sources. The data was analysed using statistical tools with the help of SPSS. The findings indicate that promotional activities play an important role in attracting customers, increasing sales, and building customer loyalty. The study also suggests that well-planned promotional strategies can help the hypermarket strengthen its market position and achieve sustainable growth.
