Abstract

In today’s rapidly evolving digital world, a large number of individuals possess valuable skills that remain underutilized due to lack of opportunity, financial barriers, or absence of suitable platforms. Traditional learning systems often depend on paid courses and formal institutions, which limits access for many people who are willing to learn but cannot afford such resources. At the same time, many skilled individuals seek practical experience, recognition, or knowledge exchange rather than monetary compensation. This gap highlights the need for a collaborative, community-driven learning environment. The Community Skill Swap Platform is a web-based application designed to enable peer-to-peer skill exchange without direct monetary transactions. The platform allows users to list skills they can offer, request skills they want to learn, and connect with others based on mutual interests. Users can exchange skills such as programming, graphic design, language learning, music, or academic tutoring through structured interactions. The system promotes inclusive learning, community engagement, and effective utilization of existing human resources. The platform is developed using modern web technologies and follows a modular architecture to ensure scalability, security, and usability.
