In 2024, Morocco’s education system underwent a major transformation with the launch of a pioneering initiative by the Ministry of National Education to securely digitize baccalaureate exams. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to modernize education across the kingdom, underscoring the ministry’s commitment to leveraging technology to promote transparency, reduce cheating, and improve assessment processes. This study explains the stages of the digital twin strategy and evaluates the effectiveness of this innovative approach in ensuring the transparency and integrity of exams. Through a survey conducted in Sidi Slimane, in the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region, the study also examines the broader impact of this technology on student performance and its effect on academic productivity with the aim of promoting digital integration, simplifying exam procedures, and mitigating the risk of future data breaches.
