This study aims to analyze trends in Korea research on teacher development through a professional learning community. We analyzed 155 research papers published in KCI journals with induction approach after deduction approach using a framework of research topics on teacher development through a professional learning community. We used constant comparative method to draw and categorize research topics and subtopics about teacher development through a professional learning community. Results revealed that research on teacher development through a professional learning community investigated teacher activities and experiences in professional learning community and reported changes in teacher professionalism and teacher culture. Most research implemented qualitative analysis using interview data. The number of research papers exploring elementary teachers was similar to the number of papers exploring secondary teachers. Teacher majors on physical education, multiple subjects, special education, science, and mathematics were much more than ones on other subjects. This study would provide implications on future research regarding teacher development through a professional learning community.
