We examined the extrarole performance of healthcare professionals using both grey relational analysis (GRA) and regression-based structural equation modeling. Survey data on self-efficacy, prosocial motivation, and workplace incivility were collected from 181 healthcare professionals at public and private hospitals in Pakistan. The results of both regression analysis and GRA indicated that prosocial motivation was a stronger predictor of organizational citizenship behavior than was self-efficacy, particularly in the presence of workplace incivility. GRA effectively highlighted nuanced moderation effects across different classification groups. This study represents a pioneering effort in applying GRA to moderation analysis within the realm of organizational psychology.
