Abstract

A three-component reaction of carbocyclic enaminoketones, CH-acids, and electrophiles was studied. Based on the reaction of nucleophilic vinyl substitution (SVin), previously unknown derivatives of 5,6,7,8-tetrahydroisoquinolines were synthesized. The structure of a number of products was studied by X-ray diffraction.
