Amberlyst-promoted condensation of 4-benzylsubstituted thieno3,2-pyrrolomethylanols with indole in methylene chloride afforded new 2-(4-benzyl-4-thieno[3,2-pyrrol-5-yl)methyl]-1-indoles.
