This research preprint is part of academic mid-term works made at IITU university. This preprint presents KazLan, a student-developed concept for an AI-assisted English-learning platform tailored to Kazakhstan. The manuscript reports the project’s motivation and literature review, describes proposed system architecture and UI mockups, and summarizes a class pilot study and analytic plan. Although no production app currently exists, the submission includes Figma prototypes and basic system diagrams to demonstrate how the proposed features (chatbot practice, automated writing feedback, tutor workflows, and usage analytics) would work in practice. The report contains a quantitative pilot section that compares a test group using the KazLan concept with a matched control group on standardized pre/post measures, along with usage metrics and a SWOT analysis. Results in the document indicate larger gains in speaking and writing for the experimental condition, and the text discusses implementation challenges, ethical considerations, and next steps for validation and scaling. Importantly, this record is a preprint / repository report: the manuscript has not undergone external peer review, and figures, prototypes, and simulated metrics are presented to support the design and research plan rather than to document a deployed product.
