Reflection of National Mentality in Metaphor and Paroemia

In the modern anthropocentric linguistic paradigm, one of the central problems, which is why it is actively being developed, is the close relationship and interdependence of the national mentality and the national linguistic picture of the world, since language translates the worldview of an ethnic group through the prism of its cultural values. Metaphorical and paremiological units act as a repeater, along with other linguistic means, which is the object of consideration in this article.
