The solidarity economy—an economic model based on voluntary cooperation, mutual aid, and the collective ownership of goods—has gained significant importance in recent times. The objective of this research was to identify the factors of the solidarity economy present among artisans in a magical town. The study followed a quantitative approach with a descriptive, cross-sectional, and non-experimental design. A survey was administered to 30 artisans who work with wicker as their raw material in Villa Tapijulapa, Tacotalpa, Tabasco, Mexico. The questionnaire consisted of 27 items. The results show that the key solidarity economy factors present among the artisans are collaboration, mutual aid, equity, autonomy, and ecological practices. Conversely, the factors that need to be strengthened for their development are justice, associativity, and a sense of community. Thus, strategies that integrate the cooperative participation of artisans are required to meet community needs, alongside institutional support and effective governance to establish a robust solidarity economy model.
