Abstract

The Cover Feature illustrates a Li—Co dual-doped gadolinium-doped ceria (GDC) electrolyte that enables fast O2− ion transport and low-temperature densification below 1000 °C. The schematic highlights enhanced grain connectivity, oxygen vacancy–assisted conduction, and their application in metal-supported solid oxide electrolysis cells for efficient hydrogen production.
