This article examines answers to a number of pressing questions regarding the preservation of architectural heritage in the modern world: what philosophical views underlie the preservation of world heritage; and what is unique about the protection of religious architectural heritage. The architectural philosophy of religious buildings represents a complex of original concepts, both material and spiritual. The hypothesis consists of constructing an algorithm and mechanism for protecting cultural heritage from the perspective of the philosophy of architecture in post-war Ukraine. The preservation of historical and cultural heritage sites is one of the most complex areas of activity in the fields of culture, anthropology, politics, and philosophy. Religious architectural monuments destroyed as a result of wars, conflicts, natural and man-made phenomena possess special cultural value. The preservation of architectural and religious heritage in modern Ukraine is a pressing issue encompassing legal, historical, socio-cultural, religious, and technological aspects. Preserving the historical and cultural heritage, as well as the traditional architectural ensemble of Ukrainian cities, has scientific, cultural, and educational significance for the formation of worldviews, respect for material and spiritual heritage and traditions, national pride, and patriotism.
