These days, while Ukraine is heading towards the NATO summit that is to take place in July 2023 in Vilnius (Lithuania), it is hard not to reflect on the obvious politico-historic nexus that objectively interlinks this upcoming event with the third Eastern Partnership Programme’s (EPP) summit that was held in the same Vilnius, but in November 2013, a decade ago. It is still a prospectively positive idea, in ontological sense, to talk about the ‘Ukraine and NATO now’ in an analytical ‘unification’ with the ‘Ukraine and the EU then’.
