This project investigates the optimal travelling speed and power efficiency of a fixed-wing UAV. An experimental method was developed to estimate the throttle input and airspeed necessary for maintaining stable flight while maximizing travel distance on a limited battery. Despite technical issues with telemetry, GPS, and the power module, a functional UAV system was configured, and flight data were successfully gathered. The results indicate that the required throttle setting for sustained flight was successfully determined, enabling an estimation of maximum possible travel distance. This work provides a strong foundation for future improvements and more precise performance evaluation of fixed-wing UAVs.
