Koli reminds me that once you get away from the idea that patterns are symmetrical, regimented and exact repetitions you start “seeing” them everywhere. The roving eye participates in audiovisual, kinetic, haptic and tactile forms of looking. It is matter of capturing imaginary in the material, not only on the surface.​
