The paper investigates the interaction between a shock wave and an anisotropic entropy perturbation field. An analytical solution is derived for the pressure perturbation behind the shock front, including second-order corrections. Using the example of two colliding plates, the problem of shock wave propagation in an impactor with initial density perturbations is solved numerically. A comparison between the analytical estimates and numerical simulations results is presented. The obtained solution can be used for verification during the development of new numerical schemes.
