This paper develops the Chronosphere hypothesis, according to which the Universe is not infinite but has a dynamic, forming boundary. The incommensurability between the discrete structure of spacetime (quanta-chronons) and the continuous boundary (the Chronosphere) creates a tension of spacetime itself, analogous to surface tension. This tension is transmitted into the bulk and generates all physical fields, particles, and gravity. The number π − 3 naturally emerges as a measure of this tension, related to the curvature of the boundary. It is shown that the proposed concept explains the universal logarithmic correction in hadron mass spectra discovered earlier. Possible cosmological consequences and directions for further research are discussed.
