A new semi-empirical relativistic model has been developed to explore low- to intermediate-energy positron scattering with zinc atoms within the energy spectrum of 10 to 200 eV exhibit unique properties and behaviors. In this research, the optical potential method has been refined by incorporating Dirac–Fock atomic wave functions along with an energy-dependent correlation-polarization potential, which allows for a more accurate representation of positron-atom interactions by analyzing the Dirac equation for every partial wave, the spin-polarization parameters, as well as the differential, integral, and momentum-transfer cross sections, have all been carefully calculated.
