3D Printing of Luminescent Microstructures The Cover Picture shows four optical fibers with different luminescent microstructures fabricated directly onto the fiber tips using femtosecond direct laser writing (fs-DLW). Incorporating lanthanide complexes into commercial resists for fs-DLW combines sub-micrometer 3D structuring with the unique photophysical properties of lanthanides, establishing a new versatile platform for multiplexed fiber-based sensing that enables simultaneous detection of biochemical and physical parameters.
