Aim: To evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of topical azithromycin 1% ophthalmic preparation in bacterial conjunctivitis. Materials and Methods: A prospective observational study was conducted on 150 patients clinically diagnosed with bacterial conjunctivitis and treated with topical azithromycin 1%. Clinical response and adverse events were assessed during follow-up. Results: High clinical cure rates were observed with minimal adverse effects, indicating good efficacy and tolerability. Conclusion: Topical azithromycin 1% is a safe and effective treatment option for bacterial conjunctivitis in routine clinical practice.
