With much of the philanthropic sector experiencing ongoing economic uncertainty amid extreme social and political division, knowing how to navigate going forward can be a daunting challenge for many corporate foundations. After all, they might be charitable organizations themselves, but the businesses that fund them—which tend to be more concerned about public perceptions since they can have major financial consequences via dropping sales—are not.
