Current Status and Challenges in School Support for Children with Nocturnal Enuresis during Overnight School Stays

Abstract

【背景および目的】夜尿症患児の学校宿泊行事における支援の現状と課題を検討すること.【方法】北九州市内の市立小学校126校・中学校62校に無記名自記式アンケートを配布し,結果を集計した.【結果】188校中186校(98.9%)から回答を得た.宿泊行事前に夜尿調査を行う施設は65.1%,保護者からの事前相談は76.9%であった.宿泊時に支援を行う施設は84.9%で,担任・養護教諭が主に対応し,夜間のトイレ誘導などを行っていた.水分・服薬管理は7割以上の施設で児童に一任されていた.支援の課題は「職員の人員不足」「他児童へ見られない配慮」であり,医療機関との連携を「必要」とした施設は46.2%にとどまった.【結論】宿泊行事は患児にとって懸念事項であるが,現場支援には偏りがあった.夜尿に対する学校の問題意識も十分とは言えず,医療機関側からの情報共有および啓発を推進することが求められる.
