With the profound blending of globalization and new media, internet buzzwords have become an indispensable part of the Chinese language ecology. Reasonably incorporating such buzzwords into the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language can not only effectively enhances teaching effectiveness, but also help international students better adapt to cross-cultural environment. Based on the practical experience of teaching Chinese as a foreign language, this paper delve into the concrete challenges for incorporating internet buzzwords into teaching, such as insufficient adaptability of teaching content, lack of professionalism in teaching implementation, and an incomplete teaching evaluation system. Meanwhile, through a detailed analysis of specific buzzword cases, it proposes targeted strategies for their incorporation, with the purpose of providing reference for optimizing the model of teaching Chinese as a foreign language and enhancing the contemporary relevance and practicality of language teaching.
