With the advancement of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, 3D printing technology has revolutionized traditional manufacturing with the concept of additive manufacturing, and it has significant advantages in complex internal structures and high-precision product manufacturing. In the past two decades, this technology has made breakthrough progress in equipment, materials, and processes, continuously improving printing accuracy and speed, injecting new momentum into the manufacturing industry. Six-axis industrial robots can complete multi angle and multi-dimensional machining tasks with high flexibility.This study proposes the idea of combining metal 3D printing technology with six-axis robots, by transforming mature industrial robots to have additive manufacturing capabilities and creating metal 3D printing robots, aiming to leverage the advantages of 3D printing to solve traditional manufacturing problems and provide innovative solutions for production and manufacturing. It offers a novel approach to traditional manufacturing problems.
