This paper challenges the conventional geometric interpretation of 4D spacetime and the resulting multiverse hypotheses by redefining time as an emergent property of wave dynamics within a single, physically absolute viscoelastic medium. Rather than treating time as a foundational, independent dimensional axis, we propose that time is purely a dependent variable, phenomenologically derived from the mechanical attenuation of photons navigating through a medium of varying macroscopic stress. By reinterpreting gravitational time dilation as a mechanical frequency shift caused by the localized viscosity of the spacetime medium—rather than geometrical warping—this framework resolves the observational paradox of simultaneous existence across varying gravitational fields. Furthermore, by linking photon energy dissipation to the thermodynamic entropy increase of the medium, this model provides a fundamental, non-geometric mechanism for the Arrow of Time, successfully unifying thermodynamic irreversibility with macroscopic viscoelastic gravity. It also demonstrates that galactic rotation curves can be completely flattened, deriving the empirical Baryonic Tully-Fisher Relation, without the need for dark matter halos.
