Key Points

  • This research focuses on predicting optimal production parameters in a multi-product environment with varying demand.
  • Two experiments conducted to analyze input variables: dm1, da1, dm2, da2, c⁻, q21.
  • Experiment 1 uses 4 input variables, while Experiment 2 uses 6 variables to assess outcomes.
  • Numerical resolutions applied to Hamilton–Jacobi–Bellman equations for output generation.
  • Outputs include optimal critical-threshold trajectories z1*(t) and z2*(t) at 10 discrete time points.
  • Optimal cost C associated with the predicted trajectories is calculated for the experiments.

Abstract

This dataset contains the training and test data used in the study. It includes two experiments: Experiment 1 (4 input variables: dm1, da1, dm2, da2) and Experiment 2 (6 input variables: dm1, da1, dm2, da2, c⁻, q21). Output variables include the optimal critical-threshold trajectories z1*(t) and z2*(t) at 10 discrete time instants and the associated optimal cost C, obtained from numerical resolution of Hamilton–Jacobi–Bellman equations.
