Many countries in the modern era seek to use public spending as a tool to achieve many of their economic and social goals. Among these goals that countries seek to achieve is economic development, the most important manifestations of which are strengthening and expanding national production capacity and the fair distribution of income and wealth among members of society in order to achieve stability and economic and social balance in society. The study of the economic effects of public spending allows knowledge of the results resulting from estimating the size of public spending on the main economic variables and then all economic activity. Knowledge of these effects by financial policy makers enables them to choose the appropriate area to which public spending can be directed to achieve a specific goal or address a problem, which means that when the state wants to achieve these effects, it must use the public spending that it causes.
