This research seeks to identify the symptoms of drug abuse among youth, especially university students, and the factors that contributed to the emergence of this phenomenon and the youth's tendency towards it. This disease results in the squandering of the state's financial and human resources, and other deviant phenomena emerge and contribute to its spread among these youth, deviating from the behavioral rules and ethical standards established by society, whether legally, religiously, or culturally. The danger of drug abuse among university students lies in the negative effects it manifests in both the user and the communities themselves. This reflects the importance of treating this phenomenon among university students, which requires an integrated team of psychologists, physiotherapists, preachers, and social specialists, taking into account the social and cultural dimensions surrounding the addict.
