Anti–PD-1/PD-L1 therapy has reshaped the therapeutic paradigm of metastatic NSCLC, improving survival and enabling durable benefit. However, the high upfront expenditure associated with immunotherapy has increased the need to frame real-world effectiveness within long-term value metrics, including quality-adjusted life-years (QALYs), disability-adjusted life-years (DALYs) and incremental cost-effectiveness ratios (ICERs), to better capture downstream gains in quality and quantity of life.
