Abstract

We test whether projections of the E8 root system's 6,720-edge network onto the Earth's surface align with sacred and energetically significant sites beyond what chance permits. Using a best-of-search Monte Carlo null model (1,000 trials per seed, Bonferroni-corrected), we identify five statistically significant E8 projections across two sacred site catalogs (160 sites and 62 sites). The confirmed projections exhibit distinct alignment signatures — breadth (97.5% of sites within 11 km), precision (83.1% within 5.6 km), and ultra-precision (48.1% within 2.2 km) — with effect sizes of d = 2.13–3.87. Systematic characterisation demonstrates that the signal cannot be attributed to projection matrix structure (classifier AUC = 0.52), edge network topology (all aggregate metrics identical between confirmed and failed seeds), or generic properties of uniformly distributed points (random-site Fisher p = 0.007). The alignment is a fine-structure phenomenon: specific E8 edges passing within 1–11 km of specific sacred sites at orientations precise to 2–3°. All five confirmed seeds share a dimensional fingerprint (dimension 2 in top-3, combinatorial p = 0.0074). The signal is statistically robust against every test applied; its origin remains unknown.
