AI-powered has seemed as potential new method for enhancing Arab English as foreign language (EFL) university students on English proficiency. The aim of this study was to explore the perceptions of university student on AI-powered learning language: English proficiency. Sixty preparatory university students aged eighteen and twenty years old taking part in this research with an different number of male and female students. The students were from university of Tabuk in Saudi Arabia. This research used quantitative research design. Data was collected using descriptive statistic (SPSS) to see student’s perceptions on AI-powered learning language. The findings of this research indicates that there is a significant difference in using AI-powered among university students to learn languages. The findings suggests that students who have been exposed monther.mohammed@lms.mediu.edu.myto AI-powered shows a strong perception about the benefit of AI-powered in helping to improve their English proficiency. Students used various AI apps like chatbots, chatgpt and Quill-driven programs hand-written text to help learn languages. In the end, the study shows how AI-powered help could make language practice active, tailored, and easier to reach without replacing instructors who bring depth and connection to learning.
