Abstract

The article examines the mechanism of cumulative fatigue development and the possibilities for its prevention. The purpose of the study is to identify the characteristics of cumulative fatigue formation in student youth and to suggest effective measures for its prevention. Research methods: analysis of scientific literature, testing the level of functional state, methods of mathematical statistics, analysis of pedagogical experience. Research results and conclusions. During the study, students experienced a decline in functional condition during the first and second semesters; however, the introduction of active games with elements of table tennis in the second semester contributed to a reduction in the severity of the negative dynamics of students' functional condition, which indicates the effectiveness of the proposed measures in preventing cumulative fatigue and maintaining the work capacity of student youth.
