Key Points

  • The aim is to create biohybrid micro machines directly driven by the propulsion of algae.
  • Developed structure to capture algal motility without hindering movement.
  • Integrated the engineered structure into micro machines.
  • Conducted observations of algal movement for potential applications.
  • Successfully integrated algae as a propulsion source for micro machines.
  • Demonstrated capture of motility without interference.
  • Highlighted potential uses in drug screening assessments.
