Watts-level terahertz radiation has been realized in a third-harmonic gyrotron with an annular electron beam and a high-Q conventional resonator. The output power is measured with the calorimeter, and the operating frequency is confirmed with a Fabry–Pérot interferometer. The output power is about 10 W when the third-harmonic gyrotron operating with a 12 kV/0.6 A electron beam and an operating magnetic field of 11.87 T.
