Abstract

In today’s competitive business world, companies need to get better at making decisions. Simulation is key to this, as it helps them analyse different situations to find the best way to act. This is important because companies have to respond quickly to customer demands without spending too much money. The article examines how hybrid simulation can assist with supply chain management in various production sectors. To do this, it mixes a literature review and case studies to examine the benefits of hybrid simulation. The study examines a tool that has helped improve supply chains: hybrid simulation. This tool can be used to model complex systems and combine different simulation techniques to make decisions and improve supply chain performance. The paper reviews the main ideas about hybrid simulation and looks at how they have changed over time. It also looks at how many publications there are on "Discrete-Event Simulation" compared to other simulation techniques.
