Abstract

The article is devoted to the theoretical analysis of the creative potential of musical and rhythmic education of schoolchildren in the process of extracurricular activities. The role of musical and rhythmic movements in the full aesthetic development of a child and in their harmonious and physical development is substantiated. The article emphasizes that physical exercises, singing, musical games, and fairy tales develop the mental and physical abilities of schoolchildren, their creative imagination, and contribute to their harmonious development. The importance of extracurricular activities for the musical and rhythmic education of younger schoolchildren and the development of creative individuality is determined.
