Objectives: To review current biological, mechanical, and technological strategies aimed at accelerating orthodontic tooth movement. Methods: Published clinical trials, animal studies, and narrative reviews were evaluated to assess surgical, physical, pharmacological, and molecular approaches for enhancing bone remodeling and orthodontic treatment efficiency. Results: Surgical methods such as corticotomy and micro-osteoperforations demonstrated accelerated bone turnover through the regional acceleratory phenomenon. Non-invasive approaches including low-level laser therapy and vibration devices showed promising clinical outcomes. Pharmacological agents and emerging genetic strategies offered targeted modulation of cellular pathways involved in tooth movement. Conclusions: Accelerated orthodontic approaches provide effective strategies to reduce treatment duration while maintaining biological safety. Integration of personalized treatment planning and emerging technologies may further enhance clinical outcomes.
