Abstract

For the analysis of the relationship between gold metallogeny and the deep structure of the earths crust of the Yenisei Ridge, the results of modern studies of the lithosphere based on GOCE gravity data were used for the first time. It is shown that the Central Angara block is divided into two areas: the western one with granitoid magmatism of the magnetite series, and the eastern Tatar-Ishimba zone of deep faults with granitoid magmatism of the ilmenite series. Gold ore mineralization is spatially confined to the late Riphean orogenic granitoids of the ilmenite series, while gold ore deposits in the South Yenisei region occur in areas of the Early Proterozoic focal volcano-plutonic association. Metallogenic forecasting constructions confirm the high potential prospects of the North-Yenisei and South-Yenisei districts, as well as the Verkhne-Kutukassky district for the identification of new gold ore deposits. The obtained results can be used in regional forecasting and metallogenic constructions, prospecting and assessment of new gold ore deposits.
