Abstract

Objective: The aim of the study is to evaluate the usability of information about stainless steel crowns (SSCs) in YouTube videos both in student education and in informing patient parents.Methods: A search was made on YouTube on September 17, 2023, using the term ‘Stainless Steel Crown in Pediatric Dentistry. The first 199 videos were preevaluated, and 118 videos were included in the study. The length of videos, number of views, number of likes and dislikes, number of months aploaded, and whether they were animated or not were evaluated. The quality of videos was evaluated and analyzed with Global Quality Score (GQS), Usefulness Score (US), and The Journal of American Medical Association (JAMA) Scores.Results: A positive correlation was found between viewers' interaction and video duration (r=.283, p
