  • Established strategies to optimize sensor sensitivity.

Abstract

A model of electric current flow in magnetoresistive elements has been developed, based on the solution of a two-dimensional boundary value problem for the Laplace’s equation with mixed Dirichlet–Neumann conditions in an anisotropic medium. For the “barber-pole” structure, the dependence of the sensor output characteristics on geometric parameters has been established by numerical modeling, which determines ways to optimize its sensitivity.
