Abstract

The glass-forming region of a new glass-forming system, TeO2–WO3–Na6P6O18, was determined, and the nature of crystalline phases was established by powder X-ray diffraction. The thermal behavior of glass samples in the TeO2–WO3–Na6P6O18 system in the 25–400°C temperature range was studied by differential scanning calorimetry, and devitrification parameters were determined. The optical characteristics of glasses in the UV, visible, and IR spectral regions were studied. The properties of glasses in the TeO2–WO3–Na6P6O18 ternary system were compared with those in the TeO2–WO3 binary system.
